I've been looking for the perfect mirror to go in my bathroom but it's been so hard. For one I'm extremely picky about what I want. I just hate the thought of getting something and not loving it and also larger mirrors can be quite costly. I've been hitting the thrift stores in search for one and haven't had any luck. Well that was up until today. It must have been my lucky day because I found this baby and the best part it was only $20 bucks. Can you believe it? It's 42x4 1/2 feet. It will take some tweaking but I can't wait to get it in there.

I also so want to redo my front porch. Some of these things in the picture I already have they just need to be redone. I bought an antique metal glider like this one last year during our annual Apple and Pork festival for $25 dollars. I already painted it green. I need to make a cushion for the seat and some pillows for the back. I have two chairs that are very similar to the one I put on here that I picked up at the thrift store for less than $5 each. They have been waiting for me to show them some love. And the the table here is like the antique table that is already on my porch as far as size and shape. Mine is a beige color at the moment and I love the green color on this one. I've picked up more than a few lamps at the thrift store so I can use any of those. I did get on that has an antique metal shade on it that I really like. The Ottoman is just like the one I have in my bedroom. It will be perfect reupholstered and put in the little nook I have on my front porch. With the lamp and some throw pillows it will make the perfect reading nook. The ceiling fan will be the perfect size for the porch and it gets quite warm out there in the summer months. These are the things I daydream about...
Also came up with some ideas for my oldest son's bedroom. It's in desperate need of some fixing up. He already has a bed like the one pictured but I plan to paint it a medium to dark gray. He also has a dresser that I would like to do in a silver like the one pictured. I love that dresser. I found this idea for turning old pallets into shelves and thought it was a great idea to try. I bought a lamp that looks almost identical to the one pictured at the thrift store. Right now it's gold and kinda meh but I plan to paint it silver as well. And I'm so into DIY lighting that I have to try making these. Also look at those painted floors. I'm so in love with those. As you can see I have a lot to do in my house. Now where am I going to find the time?
Well the bathroom redo is still going on. I'm sad to say that my great bathroom helper and friend fell and broke his leg so it's been a lot slower this week. I'm learning a lot though. I wish him a speedy recovery and I know the bathroom will get there. I have lots more pics to post and will do that later.
